The BMW Z4 Rides Off With A 2009 Eyes On Design Award for Design Excellence

Each year, the Detroit's North American International Auto Show hosts the Eyes on Design Awards. This year, the BMW Z4 won the Eyes On Design Award for Best Prodution Vehicle. This award was granted as a part of , "Eyes On Design" charitible foundation, a program of the Detroit Institute of Ophthalmology, (DIO) and an extension of the Eyes on Design Automotive Exhibit organized each year by the DIO to celebrate the world of automotive design. The BMW Z4 was chosen by a  panel of 20 judges, all of them, design executives.  Three out of the four awards handed out, were given to German automakers.  The winning production cars were the Audi R8 V10 and the BMW Z4. The winning concept cars were Audi Sportback Concept and the Cadillac ConverJ Concept.To read more about this prestigius award Click here.
