DCH Teen Safe Driving Foundation

Car crashes are the #1 cause of death among teenagers-as a member of the DCH Auto Group, BMW of Freehold is working to change that. The Foundation's approach is to educate teens about smart decisions and safe driving and provide parents with the tools they need to set the standards with their teenage drivers.

The DCH Teen Safe Driving Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit charitable organization dedicated to reducing the number of deaths and injuries resulting from teen related auto crashes by promoting safe driving through greater awareness, education and advocacy directed to teens and their parents. DCH Auto Group believes in doing more than selling new and pre-owned cars, and we've made this Foundation a priority.

The cornerstone of our work with teen drivers is our affiliation with Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD). DCH Auto Group is the exclusive automotive dealer sponsor of SADD in New Jersey, southern New York, Fairfield, Connecticut, and southern California, and has agreed to help launch SADD chapters in local area schools. Our goal is to help these schools develop successful, sustainable chapters, and to raise awareness about important behavioral decisions when behind the wheel of a car. Through this agreement, DCH Auto Group provides both financial support and support from its employees.

Through DCH Teen Safe Driving Foundation's involvement with organizations such as SADD, National Organizations for Youth Safety (NOYS), and the National Safety Council on Teen Driving, DCH employees work with students to raise awareness among their peers about the need to make smart decisions.  In working with these organizations, we focus on distracted driving, the importance of the graduated driver license, and the significance of parents playing an active part in their child's driver education.  DCH dealerships sponsor events, activities and opportunities for learning with the ultimate goal of reducing crash related tragedies.
